Nine years old Divyanshu is a student of 4^th standard. He likes to read and write and study, however his vision is not supporting him. For the past many weeks, he cannot see clearly or make out the words from a close distance and has to strain his eyes too much to read.
Dr Girish Chandra and Renu Chandra during an eye camp under the theme ‘Prevention of Blindness Among Children’held at the Kendriya Vidyalaya school screened Divyanshu. His vision was tested and he needed reading glasses. He was handed over a prescription with the correct lens power needed for the reading glasses. Further investigation was pending on other eye ailments like vitamin deficiency or any infection in the eyes. Divyanshu was called later at the hospital to be examined more in detail.
